Our Story

Set in rolling farmland with views out to sea, it’s a growing retreat on the Isle of Wight where people come to stay, celebrate, learn and reconnect — with themselves, each other and the outdoors.

What began as a disused farmyard is being thoughtfully reimagined into a flexible space for relaxed accommodation, woodland weddings, meaningful events and the on-site Canopy Skatepark — all guided by a shared commitment to wellbeing, education and life lived outdoors.

Camp Corve is a family-led project rooted in a long-term vision rather than a finished destination. The site is evolving gradually and intentionally, breathing new life into existing buildings and land while respecting the natural landscape around it.

At its heart, Camp Corve is about creating spaces where people feel welcome, supported and free to explore — whether that’s through a quiet countryside stay, a joyful celebration, a creative retreat or time spent moving and learning through skateboarding.

A Place to Stay, Celebrate and Gather

Camp Corve brings together several strands under one setting:

  • Nature-led accommodation including camping, deluxe camping and cottages
  • Relaxed, festival-style weddings with space for guests to stay on site
  • Events and retreats focused on creativity, learning and wellbeing
  • Canopy Skatepark, an all-weather, purpose-built skate space for all ages and abilities

Each element is designed to work together, allowing visitors to shape an experience that feels personal, grounded and unhurried.

Canopy Skatepark & Education

Located within a beautifully refurbished barn, Canopy Skatepark plays a central role in the Camp Corve vision.

Built to the highest standards in wood, it offers a flowing, creative environment for skateboarding in all weather.

Canopy is also a place of learning. Its educational approach is led by Hamish Fleming, who has over a decade of experience working with learners of all ages and abilities through skateboarding and outdoor activity. This ethos of inclusive learning, creativity and positive progression runs throughout the wider Camp Corve project.

Wellbeing, Nature and Community

Everything at Camp Corve is guided by a simple principle: growth happens best in harmony with nature.

From open skies and coastal air to quiet corners and shared spaces, the site is designed to support both physical and mental wellbeing. Creativity, movement, rest and connection are all valued here — whether you’re staying for a night, a weekend or something longer.

Camp Corve also aims to contribute positively to the local community and the future of the Isle of Wight, creating opportunities that are sustainable, inclusive and rooted in place.

Looking Ahead

Camp Corve is an evolving project with plans to continue developing accommodation, learning spaces and outdoor facilities over time. The long-term vision is to create a destination that attracts visitors from near and far, while remaining grounded, human and connected to its surroundings.
