Tent Pitches in a Peaceful Woodland Setting

Camp Corve’s tent pitches are spread across a sheltered, gently sloping woodland glade, offering a calm and spacious place to pitch up and slow down.

With 17 non-electric tent pitches, there’s plenty of room for families, couples, and solo campers to settle in without feeling crowded.

Surrounded by young and mature trees, wild grasses, and open skies, the camping area feels tucked away and private, while still being part of the wider Camp Corve site. Children can explore, birds and wildlife move freely through the trees, and evenings naturally drift towards time spent outdoors.

Cars are parked separately in the farmyard area, helping keep the camping fields peaceful and safe. A wheelbarrow trolley is provided to make moving your kit to your pitch easy.

Nicely laid out site, excellent showers, hot water for washing up, very helpful hosts, location, there were no dogs when we were there, very pleasant fellow campers so must attract the right people 😊. Use of secure space to store and charge electric bikes. No cars in the camping area made it safe for children and peaceful for all.

Caravan & Motorhome Pitches for Easy Touring Stays

For touring guests, Camp Corve offers two caravan pitches and two motorhome pitches, providing a simple, well-spaced base for exploring the Isle of Wight’s southern coast.

These pitches are ideal for guests who enjoy a relaxed touring setup with countryside views, access to good facilities, and the freedom to explore by day before returning to a quiet site in the evening. Whether you’re staying for a few nights or longer, the atmosphere remains laid-back and welcoming.

With easy access to Military Road and the island’s western beaches, Camp Corve works well as both a stop-off and a destination in its own right.

Hosts were very welcoming and accommodating! Other campers were friendly and our kids even made good friends with some of the other kids! No noise at all, clean and easy showers to use, toilets and hot water! All you could want for a camping site. Will definitely be back. An amazing stay!

Staying at Camp Corve puts you within easy reach of some of the Isle of Wight’s most loved outdoor spaces.

Family-friendly Brighstone Bay is around 15 minutes away, while Compton Bay, known for its chalk cliffs and surf school, is roughly a 20-minute drive.

A quiet leafy lane leading to the site becomes a bridleway, connecting directly to footpaths and longer walking routes across the island’s rolling countryside. Cycling, swimming, coastal walks, and wildlife spotting are all close at hand.

Back on site, guests can gather around the communal firepit, explore the grounds, or head over to the nearby barn-based skatepark — just a short walk away.

Definitely somewhere we'd stay for longer, if we were on the IoW again, Camp Corve is lovely, well thought out, secluded, and peaceful. Loved the hand-painted signs and map! Great facilities for what is actually quite a small site (it wouldn't be the same if it were lots bigger).

Erin and Hamish very welcoming and the indoor skate park is real! Our kids loved it. And yes, I saw a red squirrel scurrying about in front of me while everyone else was asleep!

Facilities That Make Camping Comfortable

Camping at Camp Corve doesn’t mean giving up your home comforts. Facilities are thoughtfully designed to be practical, welcoming, and in keeping with the rural setting.

  • Skylark is one of our dedicated shower blocks (4 showers, reputedly nice and hot and with great water pressure!), offering clean, comfortable facilities to refresh at the end of the day.
  • Squirrels & Hedgehogs is a combined toilet and shower block, built using recycled materials sourced from around the farm. We wanted this space to feel relaxed and considered — somewhere you can enjoy a proper hot shower and unwind, not just rush through.
  • The Ash Circle is a shared social space with communal firepits and logs available, perfect for relaxed evenings outdoors. There’s also an outdoor sink for washing up.

Clear organisation, generous space, and a relaxed approach help keep the camping experience easy — whether you’re here with children, friends, or just your tent and a good book.
