Discover Canopy Skate Park
All-Weather Skateboarding on the Isle of Wight
Canopy Skate Park is a unique indoor skateboarding destination nestled within a spacious refurbished barn at Camp Corve, in the beautiful rolling countryside of South West Isle of Wight.
Designed as an all-weather facility for skateboarders of all ages and abilities, Canopy offers a welcoming space to learn, practise, and progress — from complete beginners to seasoned pros.
This purpose-built skatepark combines smooth wooden surfaces with creative flow — letting skaters explore their style, sharpen tricks, and ride with confidence regardless of the weather outside.
Canopy’s commitment to community is central: it’s a place where recreation meets education, and where skate culture, art, film, and music come together to inspire.
Amazing Skatepark!
Amazing skate facility and friendly staff, myself and my two boys enjoyed it, sure they will be shredding up the place when they get used to it. We will be regulars and would highly recommend to any level of skater

Skate Sessions for Every Age & Ability
Based at Canopy Skatepark within the wider grounds of Camp Corve, the skatepark offers a diverse programme of inclusive, supportive skate sessions designed to help skaters grow in confidence, skill and creativity.
Whether you’re stepping on a board for the first time or looking to refine technique, Canopy’s sessions focus on progression, encouragement and enjoyment, all within a safe, weather-proof indoor space.
Regular Skate Sessions Include:
- Home Education Skate Sessions
Daytime sessions tailored for home-educated children, combining physical activity, creativity and social connection. - Instructor-Led Skate Sessions
Structured coaching for beginners and intermediate skaters, focusing on fundamentals, balance, flow and trick progression. - Adult Instructor-Led Sessions
Supportive, judgement-free sessions for adults who want to learn, return to skating, or build confidence at their own pace. - Girls-Only Skate Sessions
Dedicated sessions designed to create a welcoming, empowering space for girls to skate, learn and progress together. - After-School Skate Club
A regular club offering young skaters a fun, active way to unwind, learn new skills and be part of a positive skate community. - Open Skate Sessions
Unstructured time for confident riders to explore the park freely, practise tricks and enjoy the flow of the space.
Together, these sessions make Canopy Skatepark one of the most accessible and community-driven indoor skateparks on the Isle of Wight, welcoming locals, visitors and families alike.
Amazing!!
One of the best skateparks on the island, maybe even the best one yet! Even if your starting off or good at skating it’s ideal, so smooth and well made. The people are lovely and the atmosphere is so welcoming, definitely 5 stars

Skate Retreats & Events with On-Site Accommodation
Stay together, unwind together
Beyond regular sessions, Canopy Skatepark also hosts organised skate events and immersive retreats that make full use of the unique setting at Camp Corve.
These events combine skateboarding, wellbeing and nature — with on-site camping and accommodation allowing guests to fully switch off and settle in.
For example, our annual Women's Skate Retreat is a multi-day retreat inviting women to escape to the heart of the Isle of Wight for a skateboarding experience rooted in empowerment, connection and creativity.
Set within a peaceful wooded glade, the retreat blends instructor-led skate sessions with time to relax, reflect and connect — from campfire evenings to nourishing food and shared experiences.
It’s not just about skating better; it’s about feeling stronger, more confident and more connected — on and off the board.
