A Beautiful Beginning for Weddings at Camp Corve
April 2026 marked an important milestone for Camp Corve as we welcomed couples, families and wedding professionals to our very first Wedding Fayre.
Organised by the fantastic team at Wight Wedding Days, the event was designed with two goals in mind: to showcase the incredible range of Isle of Wight wedding suppliers available to couples planning their big day, and to introduce Camp Corve as the island's newest wedding destination.
Set within our peaceful countryside setting, surrounded by trees, open skies and natural beauty, the fayre gave visitors the opportunity to experience first-hand what makes Camp Corve different from traditional wedding venues. From outdoor ceremony spaces and marquee receptions to woodland dining areas and luxury accommodation, guests were able to imagine every stage of their future celebration.
For us, it was the perfect first event.
A New Wedding Venue for the Isle of Wight
At Camp Corve, we believe weddings should feel personal, relaxed and completely unique.
Our vision is centred around creating memorable outdoor weddings that embrace nature, bring people together and allow couples to celebrate in their own way. Whether that's an intimate woodland wedding, a festival-style wedding with live music and glamping accommodation, or a beautiful marquee wedding surrounded by family and friends, Camp Corve offers a blank canvas where couples can create a day that truly reflects them.
The Wedding Fayre allowed visitors to explore the venue and see how different spaces can work together to create a complete wedding experience.
Guests wandered through our marquee setup, viewed outdoor ceremony arrangements beneath the spring sunshine, relaxed in our rustic reception spaces and discovered how Camp Corve can transform into a full wedding weekend destination.
As many couples told us throughout the day, there is something special about being able to host a wedding, reception, accommodation and post-wedding gathering all in one place.
Showcasing the Best Isle of Wight Wedding Suppliers
One of the highlights of the day was the incredible collection of local businesses who joined us.
The Isle of Wight is home to a thriving wedding industry, and the Wedding Fayre brought together a fantastic mix of suppliers covering every aspect of wedding planning.

The collaborative atmosphere throughout the day reflected what makes the Isle of Wight wedding community so special — talented local businesses working together to help couples create unforgettable celebrations.
Outdoor Weddings, Marquee Weddings and Wedding Weekends
One of the most common comments from visitors was how many possibilities the venue offers.
The fayre showcased the versatility of Camp Corve's wedding spaces, demonstrating how couples can combine different areas of the site to create a seamless celebration.
The outdoor ceremony area, set amongst the greenery and open countryside, offered a glimpse of what a relaxed outdoor wedding could look like.
Inside the marquee, visitors experienced a beautiful reception environment that balances elegance with flexibility. The space demonstrated how a marquee wedding can feel both sophisticated and connected to nature, while still providing shelter and comfort for guests.
The woodland dining setup proved particularly popular, helping couples visualise long-table wedding breakfasts beneath the trees, while the rustic lounge areas highlighted the relaxed atmosphere that has become synonymous with festival-style weddings.
Rather than simply booking a venue for a single day, many visitors were excited by the idea of a complete wedding weekend. With on-site accommodation, camping and glamping options, Camp Corve offers couples the opportunity to spend meaningful time with friends and family before and after the wedding itself.
Why Festival-Style Weddings Continue to Grow in Popularity
Across the UK, more couples are moving away from traditional one-day celebrations and embracing wedding experiences that feel more relaxed, immersive and personal.
Festival-style weddings have become increasingly popular because they allow couples to create a celebration that reflects their personality, rather than fitting into a prescribed format.
At Camp Corve, this approach feels completely natural.
Imagine a countryside ceremony, drinks on the lawn, photographs amongst the trees, dining under canvas, live music as the sun sets and guests staying overnight to continue the celebrations around the venue.
The Wedding Fayre helped bring that vision to life and gave visitors a real sense of what is possible when you combine nature, flexibility and creativity in one venue.
Looking Ahead
As our first major wedding showcase, the Wedding Fayre exceeded all expectations.
We were delighted to meet so many engaged couples, connect with talented local suppliers and share our vision for weddings at Camp Corve. The feedback we received throughout the day confirmed what we have always believed: there is a growing demand for outdoor wedding venues, woodland weddings, marquee weddings and wedding weekend experiences on the Isle of Wight.
Most importantly, the event marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Camp Corve.
We would like to thank Wight Wedding Days for organising such a fantastic event, every supplier who attended, and all the couples who came along to explore what the future of Isle of Wight weddings could look like.
We can't wait to welcome many of you back to celebrate your own special day.
